DELIVERY

All orders can be delivered to your home or to a collection point of your choice:

Delivery to a collection point:

  • For all orders over €40.00: delivery fee of €0.01 .
  • For all orders under €40.00: delivery fee of €3.00 .

Home delivery:

  • For any order over €60.00 , and destined for mainland France: delivery charges of €0.01 .
  • For all orders under €60.00 , and destined for mainland France: Delivery costs are calculated based on the order amount, starting from €5.90 .
  • For international orders , delivery costs are calculated based on the order amount, starting from €6.90 .

Using WEEDOOGIFT codes

We accept Wedoogift gift vouchers. The provided code is indivisible, cannot be combined with other offers, and can be used as a discount voucher when you check out. You can add your Wedoogift code in the "Promo Code" field during checkout. Please note that free delivery cannot be combined with the use of your gift voucher. If your order total is less than €20, you will be responsible for the delivery charges after deducting the value of your gift voucher. Article 1: SCOPE OF APPLICATION

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders received on the website https://boutique.chefclub.tv/.

They can be modified at any time by us, it being specified that the version which will govern your order will be the one in force on the date of this order.

Article 2: AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS

Our book is offered subject to availability and for those not stocked by us, subject to their availability from our suppliers.

Although our database is regularly updated, the Chefclub book may be temporarily or permanently unavailable, as the book ordered may turn out to be unavailable from the supplier after you have placed your order.

If, for reasons beyond our control, a product becomes unavailable, we will inform you.

If the product you ordered is only available with a delay, we undertake to inform you of the additional delivery time this entails, and at the latest within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract.

Pre-order item: The official release date of the Chefclub book is indicated on the product page on the website. Pre-ordering allows you to purchase and reserve your product in advance. This way, you are guaranteed to receive it as soon as it is officially released.

Please note: we may change the official delivery date at any time.

Article 3: ORDERS

Orders can be placed directly on our online store : https://boutique.chefclub.tv/  

We have 2 payment methods available (credit card and paypal).

All orders placed via the Internet are confirmed by email sent to the email address you provided when creating your account.

The "ships within 5 days" pictogram only applies under the following conditions:

The order and its payment must have reached our services between Sunday midnight and Friday 6am, Metropolitan France time.

The order must be delivered to an address located in Metropolitan France.

Article 4: PRICE

The prices shown on our website are in Euros, including all taxes.

Prices shown in other currencies are for guidance purposes only.

Since January 1, 2013, the VAT rate applied to invoiced works is 5.5%.

New paper books are sold in compliance with the regulations applicable in France on the fixed price of books (Lang law).

The prices shown are subject to change at any time without notice. However, items will be billed based on the prices in effect at the time the order is placed.

Due to inflation and a general price increase in 2024, some of our products (books, gift sets, mugs) have seen price increases in recent months. You may receive previously published items that still display the old price.

For orders shipped to countries other than mainland France, customs duties or other local taxes (local VAT, customs tax, import duties, etc.) may apply. These charges are your sole responsibility, both in terms of declaration and payment to the relevant authorities.

Shipping costs, when applicable, are your responsibility.

All orders, regardless of origin, are invoiced and payable in Euros only.

The Chefclub book remains the property of our company until full payment of the price, regardless of the product delivery date.

Discount codes can never be combined on the Chefclub store.

Article 5: PAYMENT

Payment for purchases is made:

Via PayPal or Bancontact account: You pay online with your account without disclosing your financial information during the transaction.

By bank card (Carte Bleue, Visa and Mastercard): you must enter your card number, as well as its expiry date and the three digits of the cryptogram on the back of it, directly in the area provided for this purpose (secure entry by SSL encryption).

The amount of orders paid by credit card is collected at the time the order is placed.

By Alma: with payment in 3 monthly installments or deferred after 15 days.

Article 6: DELIVERY

The book(s) you ordered will be delivered to the address you provided when placing your order; to optimize delivery, it is advisable to provide an address where your order can be received during business hours.

Changes to the delivery address are possible provided they are requested before the customer file containing your order is exported and sent to the distribution warehouse. The export and sending of the customer file are carried out according to shipping schedules determined by our company.

If the change of address request is sent after the customer file containing your order has been sent to the shipping warehouse, your items will be shipped to the address provided before the change of delivery request. In this case, when the items are returned to our premises, we will reship them to your new address at no extra cost and without any delivery time guarantee. The decision to send replacement items to the new address free of charge, before the items are returned to our premises, rests with our company and is not automatic.

In the event that you do not receive your items at the address indicated in our database, we will reship them to your new address, at no extra cost and without any guarantee of delivery time, when the items are returned to our premises; the decision to send new items free of charge, before the items are returned to our premises, rests with our company and will in no case be automatic.

For deliveries outside mainland France, the ordered items are imported into the destination country by and under your responsibility. It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary information from the relevant local authorities and to ensure strict compliance with the specific import regulations for these items in the destination country. Any customs duties or local taxes are your sole responsibility.

Our company, as part of its sales contract, handles all delivery and transport costs, which are included in these services. If you personally take delivery of your product and the delivery person does not allow you to verify its condition, you have 24 hours to report any issues.

Shipping is usually completed within 24 working hours and delivery to mainland France normally takes place within 24 to 48 hours following shipment.
During exceptional periods, and in particular during periods of lockdown or gradual lifting of lockdown, these delays may be increased depending on the delivery providers (mostly Colis Privé and La Poste/Colissimo) and the management of their schedules.

Article 7: RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS / REFUNDS

You will be fully refunded at no extra cost if you decide to withdraw before the order is being prepared by our logistics provider, which can happen within minutes of placing the order; do not hesitate to call us if needed to check this possibility.

Once the order has been prepared for shipment, you must wait for receipt; if the items you have purchased do not give you complete satisfaction, you have a period of 14 days from their receipt to exercise the right of withdrawal granted to you by law (article L 221-18 of the Consumer Code).

You can exercise your right of withdrawal by informing us of your decision by email: support@chefclub.tv . You must then return the items to us, at your own expense, no later than 14 days after the date of sending your decision to withdraw, in their original packaging and in a condition that will allow us to put the items back on sale (new condition).

Our company is committed to refunding all payments received from you. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. In accordance with the law, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned products or proof of their return shipment, whichever comes first.

Cash on delivery returns are not accepted.

Article 8: LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY

Our company remains bound by the legal guarantee of conformity mentioned in articles L. 217-4 to L. 217-14 of the consumer code and by the guarantee relating to defects in the thing sold.

When the consumer acts under the legal guarantee of conformity:

- He has a period of 2 years from the delivery of the goods to take action

- He can choose between repair or replacement of the property, subject to certain cost conditions set out in Article L.217-9

- He is exempt from providing proof of the existence of the lack of conformity during the 24 months following delivery of goods acquired in new condition and 6 months for second-hand goods.

o The legal guarantee of conformity applies independently of any commercial guarantee that may be granted.

o The possibility of implementing the guarantee against hidden defects; in this case, the consumer can choose between the cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price.



Article 9: PERSONAL OR PRIVATE INFORMATION

Our company treats all customer information with the strictest confidentiality.

When placing an order, only the information essential for processing the order online is requested. This data entered online is stored on a secure server and is immediately encrypted.

The information provided during the ordering process may be transmitted to our service providers, for the purpose of requesting customer ratings of our services or theirs.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, object to and rectify data concerning you, which you can exercise by writing to the following address: support@chefclub.tv.

Article 10: DISPUTES - APPLICABLE LAW FOR RELATIONS WITH THE CLIENT

Online sales made by https://boutique.chefclub.tv/ from its website are governed exclusively by French law.

By clicking the "Place my order" button, you declare that you accept the order and all of these general terms and conditions of sale.
